Benefits of group practice

Practicing in a group creates a wonderful sense of connectedness with others, peace and harmony. And of course it can be a fun and joyful experience to be surrounded by like-minded people & enhancing advantages of the actual meditation practice.

Mindfulness: take a walk...

“Mindfulness simply gives people a tool to immerse themselves in the environment without constant chatter and distraction. You might go for a walk, but if you’re spending the whole time worrying about what’s going on at work, for instance, you won’t catch the reflection of the light off the water or notice the flora and fauna around you. It’s simply about drawing our attention to the present.”

Top benefits of joining a local mindful walking group

Taking care of our body is fundamental for our sense of wellbeing. And walking & movement is an essential practice.

Just like with other formal meditation, mindful walking is a way to train your mind to stay in the present moment and wakeful state. Concentrating on the steps and movements of the body is a powerful opportunity to bring your mindfulness skills into everyday life.

Here're some of many benefits of mindful walking and mindful movement:

  • reconnect you with nature
  • help you get out of your head
  • allow you to get to know your body
  • strengthen the connection between body & mind
  • regulate & balance nervous system
  • significantly reduce stress level
  • improve resilience, body mobility & flexibility
